Description

Yellow-wort is an upright yellow-flowering plant with pale green-grey leaves and grows up to 50cm tall. It can be seen flowering between June – October. The flowers open in the morning and close by mid-afternoon.

Habitat Information

Yellow-wort grows in grassland, dunes and rocky places, preferring calcareous soils. It is widespread in England but not common.

Growing Information

Established form seed sown in the Spring or Autumn.
