Description
Rock Sea-spurrey is a short, sprawling perennial with flowers consisting of five pink and un-notched petals backed by sepals of equal length. Both the stem and leaves are covered by sticky hairs.
Habitat Information
Much more a plant of rocks, cliffs and crevices than the other sea-spurreys but also found on guano enriched soils near sea-bird colonies and the short turf of cliff-tops. Very rarely found far from the sea.
Growing Information
Can be sown at any time of the year.
