Description
Weasel’s snout is a short, attractive annual with narrow, dark green and shiny leaves. In the axils of the upper leaves are borne the bright purple pink and stalkless snapdragon like flower.
Habitat Information
Weasel’s snout is an annual of light soils and is found within arable and horticultural crops and other area of open ground including gardens, allotments and waste places. The shift to growing more autumn sown crops that grow quickly on intensively fertilised soils has hit this spring germinating plant as has its susceptible to modern herbicides.
