After you have completed and sent your order you will receive an email acknowledgement of your request. Whilst we endeavour to keep the information on our website as up to date as possible, supplies of a few items are restricted and we also take orders by post. Before we accept your order in full we will check availability. We will email you an order confirmation with any variations necessary.
We regret that due to the cost of bank transactions we have a minimum order policy for online orders of £5
Once you have finished putting your order together you will be re-directed via the checkout on our website to Sagepay (a secure card payment service), so you will need your card ready at this point.
If you decide that you would prefer to place your order by post please print out your order and mail it to us with a cheque. Orders may also be sent by fax or email then ringing through your card details.
Existing credit account customers can be offered the facility to order seeds on account and will be sent an invoice when their order has been dispatched.
Post and Packing
Our prices all include handling, packaging and delivery charges to mainland destinations in England, Wales and Lowland Scotland. For orders over 2kg to the Scottish Highlands and Isle of Wight we will charge an additional £10 carriage. For orders of 2kg - 20kg to the Islands of Scotland or to N.Ireland we will charge an additional £16 carriage. For other weights over 2kg and destinations not covered above (including IOM, Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly) there will be additional charges for larger consignments; you will be advised of these additional costs before we complete your order.
FRA (Flat Rate Addition)
We are registered with the VAT authorities as “flat rate farmers”. This means that we charge our VAT registered customers a “flat rate addition” (FRA) of 4% on all our supplies. This can be reclaimed in the usual way. Non VAT registered customers do not need to add VAT or FRA.
FRA registration No: FRF 10-000071
We regret that we cannot accept online orders placed outside the UK.
Both the seeds and the advice we offer originate from Britain and are most suited for use here. In addition there are some practical issues relating to trading outside of the UK and sometimes import/export restrictions, especially outside of the EC.
