We are excited to share with you our first customer case study video.
Long House Farm in Somerset, owned by Lindsay Suenson-Taylor, was previously a commercial mixed farm. Emorsgate Seeds assisted in transitioning the land from traditional arable and intensively grazed grassland to the establishment of flower-rich grassland, using locally sourced seeds in line with a conservation plan provided by Natural England.
There are many benefits of using wild harvested seed which we harvest directly from established wild flower meadows each year using our minimal impact brush harvesters. This year we have 5 different Brush Harvested Mixtures, including EM18 St Catherine Meadow Mixture, which was used on this project.
We trust you will enjoy watching this case study, and hope that it will inspire others to transform their land, whether it be a large farm-scale project or a patch in a back garden.
