The pages link to provide information about the wild flower and grass species contained in our seed mixtures and can be used to select and order appropriate species to add further diversity to the Emorsgate formulations. The species and mixture accounts are together a good starting point if you plan to build your own custom mixture specification.
Each species account includes a plant description, habitat information and growing tips together with prices and an ordering facility.
The diverse range of wild flower seeds we offer have, with a few exceptions, been produced on our own farms. The seed we use to grow our crops was originally collected by us from wild plant populations across Britain. For many species we have collections from different regions: the county from which our main collections were made is given within individual species accounts.
The wild grass seeds we offer have been produced on our own farms from seed collected by us from wild plant populations across Britain. These include genuine wild forms of grass species used for amenity horticulture and agriculture.
This list includes amenity and agricultural varieties of grass, herb and legume species.
