Returns Policy

We hope that you will be fully satisfied with the seeds that we supply. If for any reason you have a problem with our products please do contact us and let us know at the earliest opportunity so that we can seek to resolve the issue.

If we have made a mistake or our seeds are defective we will of course replace or refund the items concerned without delay. Depending on the nature of the complaint we may ask for the return of the goods in question. If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and arrange collection or refund the cost of returning it to us.

Before returning seed or other products to us please first contact us to notify us so we can advise you on the best course of action.

Cancellations

Under Consumer Contracts Regulations individual consumers (but not a business) have the right to cancel an order for any reason up until 14 working days from receiving the goods, and then have 14 days from cancellation to return the goods for a refund. We will refund in full any payment made by you to us for the goods within 14 days of their return subject to the conditions below.

Please notify us by email or by post of your wish to cancel. We will acknowledge this by email after which you have 14 days to arrange return of the goods (see also below).

Please take particular care when ordering bespoke or custom mixtures of seeds: the right to cancel does not apply in this situation as we would not be able to re-sell the goods.

To qualify for a full refund the seeds must be returned to us in good condition, unopened, and with their original packaging and labelling intact. To comply with seed regulations, we can only accept un-opened seed packages that are still sealed with their official labels. Seeds are living structures and potentially a perishable product so we reserve the right to refuse their return if we suspect that the seed or packaging have been damaged (eg exposed to damp or heat). A deduction to the refund may be applied if the value in the goods has been reduced through poor storage or handling.

Please note that if you wish to return seeds that we have correctly supplied according to your order instruction you will be responsible for returning the items to us and for the cost of returning. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than £50. For larger consignments we can arrange collection and return and charge this back against your refund - contact us.

Any payment taken by us in respect of the goods will be reimbursed to you within 14 days of return of the goods as described.


Other Returns

In all other circumstances we would not normally accept goods back that have been correctly supplied by us as we cannot be sure that the seeds have been stored in the same safe manner as we would in our own seed store. Please take care when ordering.

Footnote: If you find that you are not able to sow your delivered seeds as quickly as you had hoped, or have seed left over that cannot be used straight away, do not panic. As long as you ensure the seed is stored in a cool and dry store it should still be usable for at least 12 months.
