EG22c – Wear Tolerant Turfgrass Mixture with clover

Composition

EG22c is composed of bent grass and fescue with the addition of some dwarf perennial ryegrass and smooth-stalked meadow-grass. This combination of grasses gives both fine structure and resilience to wear for pathways and parking areas. The inclusion of 5% white clover further enhances the swards ability to withstand stress.

Small-leaved wild white clover sown with EG22 as a lawn can produce a sward that is more tolerant of wear and stays green without the need for feeding and watering. Relaxed mowing during the summer will allow the production of flower heads for bees.
